01Who we are
Beespoke Carpentry is the controller of the personal information described here. You can contact us about anything in this notice: email hello@beespokecarpentry.com, call 07960 516459 or write to us at Unit 4, Dale House, Pochin Street, Manchester, M40 8EF.
02What we collect
Information you give us. When you start a project through our online form (the Project Studio) we collect your name, email address, phone number and project postcode, the kind of project, its stage and timing, any room size and style you choose, and anything you write in your message. If you call, email or message us, we keep a record of that conversation.
Information collected automatically. Our hosting provider processes technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, so the site can be delivered and protected. Our project form holds your IP address in memory for about 20 seconds to block repeated submissions.
Cookies and similar technology. We only use essential storage unless you choose otherwise. See our cookie policy.
We don’t ask for sensitive information (such as health details). Please don’t include it in your messages.
03How we use it and why
The tick box on our forms confirms you’re happy for us to contact you about your enquiry. We don’t sell your information, we don’t send marketing without your permission, and we don’t make decisions about you by automated means that have legal or similarly significant effects.
05International transfers
Some of our providers, including our hosting provider, are based in or access data from outside the UK and EEA, for example in the United States. Where that happens we rely on UK and EU adequacy decisions (including the UK Extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework where the provider is certified) or on standard contractual clauses with the UK International Data Transfer Addendum, so your information keeps an equivalent level of protection.
06How long we keep it
- Enquiries that don’t go ahead: up to 2 years from our last contact, then deleted.
- Customer and project records: 6 years after the project ends, to meet tax rules and deal with any claims.
- Hosting and security logs: kept by our hosting provider for a short period, typically no more than 30 days.
- Your cookie choice: 6 months, after which we ask again.
07Your rights
You have the right to ask for a copy of your information, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it (including where we rely on legitimate interests), to receive it in a portable format, and to withdraw consent at any time. You can change your cookie choices with .
To use any of these rights, email hello@beespokecarpentry.com, call 07960 516459 or write to us at Unit 4, Dale House, Pochin Street, Manchester, M40 8EF. We’ll respond within one month. There’s normally no charge, and we may ask you to confirm your identity first.
08Complaints
If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your information, please tell us first so we can put it right. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office: ico.org.uk, 0303 123 1113, Wycliffe House, Water Lane, Wilmslow, Cheshire SK9 5AF. If you live in the EEA, you can also contact your local data protection authority.
09Keeping it safe
The site is served over an encrypted connection, enquiries are sent securely to our systems, and access to your information is limited to the people who need it. We choose established providers with appropriate security measures.
10Children
Our services are for adults arranging work on their homes or for trade customers. We don’t knowingly collect information from children under 16.

We’ll update this notice if the way we use information changes, and change the date at the top. Significant changes will be highlighted on this page.
